Andreas en Barbara, de eersten uit een dozijn heiligen het jaar rond
Op 30 november, wordt het feest van Sint Andreas gevierd. Het is het eerste heiligenfeest in de advent, en het vormt daarmee het begin van een lange reeks gebeden tot heiligen die door het hele jaar heen gevierd worden.
Op 4 december volgt Sint Barbara, die links van Sint Andreas staat afgebeeld.
Het Project Gebedenboek Maria van Gelre presenteert in de komende twaalf maanden alle heiligen die in het gebedenboek aan bod komen. Door te klikken op de afbeelding van Sint Andreas met het bekende Andrieskruis komt men op de website.Wij hopen dat u zult genieten van de daar gepresenteerde informatie over het gebedenboek van Maria van Gelre.

The 30th November the church celebrates Saint Andrew. He is the first saint in the Advent, and his feast forms the starting point of a long series of prayers throughout the liturgical year.
The project "Prayerbook Mary of Guelders" will present in the coming twelve months all the saints celebrated in this prayerbook on the website of the project. From this week on (starting tomorrow or wednesday) an English version of this website will be online, and so the saints will be presented for an English speaking public at www.ru.nl/maryofguelders.
